Absolutely yes, yes they do! And it’s pretty simple really. Satin reduces friction. Keep your dog’s coat as clean as possible at all times, bath weekly. The collar reduces the effects of friction by disbursing it over the much larger area of a cuff and the slip chain keeps your dog safe on lead. For decades I’ve raised my Standard Poodles in my quilted collars. This year Gardenpath had an amazing Poodle Club of America 2016 National in Salisbury, Maryland. These are littermates Ella and Vegas, Ella is the product model in many of the images here on The Quilted Hound. Love my babies, love their hair! Unless they’re in the actual show ring, they only wear QH collars from about 3 months of age on when on lead.
Spiffy dressers outside the ring too in their QH collars. As a matter of fact Ella’s Zebra with Dark Purple ribboned collar she wore the day she went Winners Bitch I sold to a lucky, happy customer the same day. I know he’s enjoying it! Have a great day, Renee
